I can’t say I understand all of the details here, but the Ethereum Foundation does seem to be proposing the right moves for scalability and privacy to maintain its lead in the institutional world.

The price of any good is determined at the margin, demand relative to supply. The math is mathin’ !

.@ARKInvest has been wondering how much of a sleeper #Tesla’s Dojo is. Interesting perspective here.

We are thrilled that you have joined the ARK team, @rhadiARK. You hit the ground running with $CRCL, the first of many successes likely in the years ahead!

How did this amount of coinblock destruction compare to the second largest one? The #bitcoin market stabilized fairly quickly, so could this block be part of a government settlement deal? Is it now part of a government Treasury?

Bitcoin hodlrs probably have a large percent of their net worth in crypto and therefore have not been able to qualify for a mortgage. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were to shift some of their bitcoin to Coinbase to serve as collateral for a once unattainable new home.

.@Pulte’s directive could bolster both crypto and housing significantly. I do not believe that the ramifications of this move are well-understood. Find @GrousARK’s early analysis in our ARK Disrupt newsletter on Monday at https://t.co/4GzS1p9lDa.

Fascinating! How can @GOOG be underperforming Anthropic on this metric? Google has so much of our personalized information and some of the best AI engineers in the world. What explains this disconnect?

Now that #robotaxis are commercializing , the next question is who will win this winner-take-most opportunity in the US. Based on two major competitive advantages, @skorusARK makes the case for $TSLA in The Brainstorm this week.

China is pointing the way forward for EV sales in the US. Why? Economics, as usual. EVs costs and prices will drop well below those for “like-for-like” gas-powered vehicles during the next three years!

For anyone interested in breaking into venture capital, @PratherARK posed the question to legendary @bfeld. His answer, roughly 10 minutes into the podcast, was excellent. Looking forward to the publication of his next book this week!

Thank you, @PratherARK, for surfacing some of the differences between @ARKInvest’s direct-to-consumer venture capital fund and other offerings. We are pleased to help democratize opportunities that once were limited to a select group of investors.

Introducing our #SpaceX model, I am grateful to our exceptional Autonomous Technology and Robotics Team and @wintonARK for their first principles research, in collaboration with @aaronburnett and @VladSaigau, modeling the way that @elonmusk and team will get us to Mars.

.@StevenBartlett drilled into the impact of AI and robotics on our jobs, all jobs. History shows that new technologies create many more jobs than they displace. We do not think that this time will be different. After our interview, I asked chatGPT and Grok3 for a list of new jobs: ChatGPT and Grok3 were full of job ideas. Test them yourselves, but be sure your prompt includes ideas from futurists and sci-fi. While we mere mortals can't imagine many of the future jobs, I learned that chatGPT and Grok3 can! Thank you for a great interview, @StevenBartlett!

.@ARKInvest is optimistic that FDA Commissioner @MartyMakary and Team will encourage the use of technologically enabled innovation to diagnose cancer in Stage 1, collapse the costs of drug discovery and development, cure diseases, and transform our healthcare system.

On the day of the amazing debut of $CRCL, @LorenzoARK’s stablecoin blog is timely. USDC and Tether are creating demand for dollars, helping to offset the declining demand for dollars from China and other countries.

Thanks for clarifying my clarification, @grok! Clearly, I was referring to the improvement after Reagan’s policies took hold, after the deficit peaked at 6% of GDP, not far from the 7% deficit today. The tax cut was phased in fully in 1983.

XQuote

.@grok, I should have said that Reagan’s policies cut deficits as a share of GDP throughout the eighties, which is what @SecScottBessent is aiming to do, thanks to a tax-cut-related acceleration in GDP growth.

@ARKInvest could not agree more. Thanks to Tesla’s leadership in autonomous mobility and humanoid robots, as well as breakthroughs elsewhere in blockchain and multiomics sequencing technologies, global real GDP growth could accelerate from 3% annually since 1900 to 7%+.

XThread

While autonomous vehicles and humanoid robots are likely to be the largest applications of AI in the next five to ten years, health care is likely to be the most profound application: The convergence of AI with multiomics sequencing and gene editing technologies already is diagnosing cancer with blood tests in stage one, curing sickle cell disease and beta thalassemia, and cutting the time and cost to develop new therapies. According to @ARKInvest’s research, during the next five years AI could cut the cost to develop a new drug from $2.4 billion (including failed trails) to $600 million, and cut the time from 13 years to 8 or fewer years. …

I served as an economist to Jennison Associates during those years, and I remember them well. During the early years of the Reagan Administration, Fed Chairman Volcker hiked the Fed funds rate from 10% to 20%, throwing the economy into back to back recessions.Starting in 1983,… President Reagan’s policies jump-started 15-20 of the best years in financial markets history. Both equities and bonds boomed. From much lower interest rates today, in our view, equity markets will be the biggest beneficiaries of President Trump’s policies.

XQuote

Deja vu! Early in my career, financial markets doubted that Reaganomics—including deregulation, tax cuts, and lower interest rates—would accelerate GDP growth and lower inflation, cutting the deficit. Reaganomics worked. This administration’s policies are Reaganomics on steroids!
