Nice endorsement of 8090’s Software Factory from one of our Alpha users.
Dev cleanup is going quickly so we are accelerating our launch.
In Sep many thousands from the waitlist will get invites. Assuming scaling, security and other peripheral features don’t break, we will release everyone into the Beta in the last few weeks of Sep and aim to GA by Oct1.
Personally, there are a handful of reasons to try @8090solutions Software Factory if you are a team building a product:
1. Collaborative approach that ties business, PMs, Designers, Engineers and QA in a tight loop.
2. “Backprop” allows you to generate one-shot Eng plans and PRDs from legacy codebases. Very helpful.
3. UI mocker allows you to see what you’re proposing - as you draft a PRD, we generate a preview so you can minimize design cycles.
4. Work Order extraction- automatically generate detailed work orders from PRDs and Eng Plans for your engineers and coding assistants to keep development on track.
There’s lots more but these are worth noting.
It’s working well for us - we use Software Factory to build and ship production code in very demanding environments for our customers.
It’s our first full year in business and rev scaling wildly, Software Factory is making it possible.

Quoted context
These are the quoted author’s words.
When we were growing Assent (an Ottawa-based SaaS Unicorn), I had to grow the dev team from 1 to 30 to 300 which then included layers of product management, QA, planning and some superfluous teams.
I’m back at it at a new start up from scratch and I’m testing all the tools I can get my hands on that can help eliminate a lot of the red tape and time it takes to get from idea to feature. @8090_Factory is one of those valuable tools for both a product person and developer. We’ve even discovered some unexpected benefits along the way such as the ability to teach the non-technical technical parts of what we’re building as well as being able to control the technologies and also examine alternatives before even writing a line of code. I’ll be honest, I was skeptical, but this tool will stick around with us as we build Backboard, the first API connecting to 400+ LLMs with stateful threads, portable, private memory.
