Imagine what would be found if the federal government (aka taxpayers) slowed transfer payments to California, Minnesota etc until it passed an audit? Is passing an audit an unreasonable ask in return for hundreds of billions of dollars per year?

Quoted context

These are the quoted author’s words.

The US govt spent about $638 billion on Medicaid in 2024. It is about 9% of all US govt spending. In one state of Minnesota they have identified $9 billion in fraud, with a huge portion being shipped overseas to the families of migrants running the scams. Consider all 50 states, it would not surprise anyone if the total fraud nationally is $50 to $100 billion per year. Lets start the forensic accounting audits in California, New York and Illinois. I am 100% sure the same Minnesota scams are being run in those states.
