Goldman cutting $TSLA estimates about 20%. Including 2026 and 2027, which should include FSD/Robotaxi “profits”.

Someone correctly connecting the dots on Tesla Energy. Assembling Chinese-made batteries is not a long-term 25% gross margin business. $TSLA

XPost

@paulmidler Keep telling yourself that. I heard a similar sentiment (“They’re just prototypes”) about Chinese EV’s five years ago.

XQuote

Compare this “insane” progress over three years to what the Chinese robotic companies have done in one year. It’s not even close. Robotic gaslighting at its finest. $TSLA

XPost

Wow, the Y/Y unit sales decline of $TSLA Models S/X/CT of 24% was worse than the 12% decline in Models 3/Y. With CT ramping and no changeover impact. https://t.co/fGX1j12HHH

Mr. Gracias is correct here about two different time series in the chart I posted, and I am deleting my original post. HOWEVER, that doesn’t mean that the graph that he and Musk highlighted about SSN’s going to immigrants isn’t highly misleading itself. (2) For as he admits, the data/chart they used only covered one method (“EBE”) that legal immigrants apply for SSN’s. But that’s not what the heading on their graph implies, nor was it clear in his discussion. (3) Finally, as a number of us have pointed out, the entire concept of SSN issuance to legal immigrants is a red herring by DOGE. We want people employed to be paying the proper amount…

Why is the candidate himself, not at these events…?! He was a no-show at Musk’s rally in Green Bay. Despite Musk spending millions on his campaign.

XThread

As DOGE continues to wave its hands about the number of new SSN’s being issued every year (it’s a misdirection about illegal voting), keep in mind that the number of new SS recipients is growing less that 1 million per year currently (1.3% increase in 2024). https://t.co/QTE2te3Lv1 (2)And over the long-run, SS recipients have increased at a 1.9% annual rate since 1970 (25M to 68M people)vs US population growth of 0.9% over that same period. The 1% higher growth rate of recipients can entirely be explained by longer life expectancy today(78.4) vs then(70.8). https://t.co/qJcxi59lZD (3) And of course, DOGE should rightly be focused on SS disb…

@EquityHaze (2) And for someone who just bought a chain in the hospitality business, you should know that.

Question: When are tariffs not really tariffs? (Reminder he did this in the first Trump Administration)

XQuote

Just a reminder for when you claim that the equity in a Chinese VIE is “cheap”. You own promises, not assets.

XPost

Gotta love the irony of paid $TSLA shills whining about paid Tesla protestors.

XQuote

Maybe, just maybe, it’s because the “legacy” media realized that when the astronauts returned in a space capsule that was docked at the ISS since September, that they weren’t “trapped”, and it wasn’t a “heroic rescue”. Everyone is glad they are back, but facts matter.

XQuote

Important thread (with receipts) on the nonsense that DOGE keeps claiming. Remind me what it’s called when you INTENTIONALLY mislead people?

XQuote

Great (but somewhat predictable) financial cliffhanger at the end of this week’s episode. Thought shipping JD off to Greenland to NOT officiate the dog sled race was pretty funny, but the DOGE subplot is getting a little tired.

XPost

@SoulHealth14 By pissing-off Canada and Mexico, while we threaten Greenland and Panama?

XQuote

Just who is going to invade Greenland…?! The Evil Canadians? Certainly not our new BFF Russia, correct? It seems like the only country threatening Greenland…is us.
