Even money Steven Seagal gets an exemption. https://t.co/Cyy5cufcXH
OMG, all those prize tickets my kids won at the arcade twenty years ago just went in-the-money! Patient, long-term investing pays off. https://t.co/mHq6b5fuuw
Here’s the actual clip
Trump: “We were losing hundreds of billions of dollars on China. Now we are not doing business with China, so we are saving hundreds of billions.”
Who wants to tell the breathless $TSLA Fanboys that this “development” in Europe (driver not liable in fully autonomous vehicles) means the liability shifts to the manufacturer (Tesla)?
Just a reminder that the right to run a grift on social media is also protected by the Constitution.
This is, of course, completely insane. $MSTR (Reminder that the Company is actively taking the other side of what Saylor is promoting here)
Conflicts of Interest should be a Cabinet-level position in this Administration.
The new, “You wouldn’t know her, she lives in Canada.”
Obviously outrageous, if true. So let’s see the evidence.
@jaysyoon To put this all in perspective, in 2022 (pre-AI Boom), D&A of $8.7B represented about 12-yr life on their 2022 average capital base. $META
Fraud as a viable (long) investment strategy. #GoldenAge
$META is currently deprecating its capital base ($176B) over 11 years (1Q D&A was $3.9B). (2) And over the past year their capital base has increased by $39B ($137B to $176B), yet their D&A increased at only a $2.1B annualized rate($526M Y/Y increase x 4). That’s over 18 year life, on the margin! $META (3) So if Mag7 capex continues to grow at 50% annually, at what point do we have a material “quality of earnings” issue? $META $MSFT $AMZN $GOOG $NVDA (4) And on a “Hyperscaler Comp” basis, $AMZN is at 6 years, $MSFT is 10 years, and $GOOG(!) is 15 years.
Foxconn workers in China who assemble $AAPL phones, were considered too expensive at $3 per hour, in 2023. Does the Commerce Secretary really think those $3/hour jobs are coming back to the US?! https://t.co/fqRJnxgTnN
A Couple of Thoughts: 1. Although everyone doubts this ouster will really happen, how can the $TSLA Board endorse another huge pay package for Musk, given their waning confidence, and 2. What if upon his part-time return, things don’t improve? https://t.co/UzAmVDphZc (2) Also, 3. Regarding Tesla’s Chair (who apparently is selling her stock as fast as she can) denying this WSJ story, keep in mind that it stated that Tesla “board members reached out”, not that the Tesla Board collectively (and officially) did. That’s an important distinction. https://t.co/9TI58djWF3 (3) Because in such a sensitive matter, things like this usually start “unoff…
Impressive. Note the previous peak…in 2000.
Spot on. Because who better than a $TSLA Community member to call out other companies for publicly discussing future business plans.
Lol, ok
Shocker $NOVA $RUN https://t.co/byC4fX426C
(2) Remind me what it’s called when the military is called-out for local law enforcement. https://t.co/ye7txwLxx6
@SabraMouse I thought the point was bringing manufacturing jobs to the US, not domestic-sourced pricing.
Which of course is funny because we all know that foreigners pay the tariff costs.
Wait, what…?!
These figures are, of course, ridiculous. First of all, roughly half of all ride-hailing miles are “dead” (non-revenue) miles. Second, commercial auto insurance is 3-4x personal auto insurance(10 cents per mile), or 30-40 cents per mile. Cleaning costs($400/month), etc. (2) But the big cost per mile for the Robotaxi fleet will be redundancy/safety/monitoring, which MIT estimated at $0.05 to $2.35(!) per mile, depending on regulation. With the entire US taxi/ridesharing market at $50-75B in 2024. $TSLA
Will be curious to see what assumptions they will be using for DOGE-related budget cuts. https://t.co/a0JhulIPf9
“Nothing to see here…Move along…”
Remind me of this when Trump inevitably rolls back the Chinese tariffs and/or renders them economically meaningless with “exemptions”. Theater > Policy.
Amazing how quiet things have become on the DOGE front. (2) I spoke too soon. It appears the new narrative to explain DOGE’s failure is that it is all “up to Congress” because these are “appropriations”. (Like virtually everyone familiar with the Federal budget pointed-out.)
At $200 per options contract, this works out to annualized turnover of $2T(!) by $HOOD’s customers. Or almost 20x asset turnover(more on equity). Trading to oblivion.
