Imagine thinking that the new Harry Potter art will be as good as the prior art. Just re-explore the prior art. Re-watch it, show it to your kids. They already nailed it.

My job is to entertain you most of the time, occasionally quell sensationalist headlines, and so forth. You know, the normal stuff. But each day the Strait of Hormuz remains closed is a growing global catastrophe that people are sleepwalking into. That’s the signal. https://t.co/mToDVrGrXS
Some people ask me when I’ll be chill about energy. The first step is that my (almost always chill, but currently not chill) oil quant has to become chill again. He’s still not chill. He’s the opposite of chill.
My vibe when I encounter good hummus outside of the Middle East is like https://t.co/4IUabv8KjB
Yes.
The best-ever pizza days often start with these stories.
In a world of chaos, the latest algo update shows that at least one thing remains true: -Many Americans are fascinated by the Japanese, and many Japanese are fascinated by the Americans. Hello to the land of the rising sun. I’m happy to meet you. 🇯🇵 https://t.co/c9ed7uxE79 👍🙏🇯🇵
@MWG1057413 @sull1vannolan Hey M WG, despite the fact that you have made over two thousand posts and have only 28 followers, suggesting you are likely a propaganda account, I’d be happy to discuss the situation with you. Happy to hear where you disagree, sir.
The best pizza this broadly experienced gentleman ever had was in Jersey. And it’s true.
Most people don’t realize how large Cairo is. Large outward portions of the city always look like this. I go there regularly. Ghost sections are the norm. Any pic can be like “Cairo is dark!” In an already dark part of town. But yes, Cairo is rationing power now.
The thing about Philly and South Jersey is that while we are known for cheesesteaks, we actually have some of the best pizza in the country. Plenty of Italian pros here. When I’m asked NYC or Chicago Pizza, my answer is Philly and South Jersey Pizza. I’ll go to bat for that. Anthony, @Scaramucci , what is your opinion on the quality of New Jersey pizza? Made by good Italian places. How would you rank it vs NYC or Chicago?
Well that's cool. https://t.co/dKZ2iAlHHF On the other hand, another reviewer was basically like, "I enjoyed it, the story explodes in the second half, oh and btw one of the villains who does horrible things reminds me of Lyn." ☠️ https://t.co/HGKvP251NP https://t.co/xthYN9rRe4 The first reviewer was Howard. A few days after it was released. I don't know who he is, but clearly he's a gentleman and a scholar. https://t.co/TeBL7YwHHd

The 1,700 comments to this post are an absolute goldmine, btw. I posted it shortly after I finished the first draft of The Stolguard Incident. I was curious to see what people liked to read. https://t.co/90lW3MMW0h The book includes the US fighting wars in the Middle East. Part of me was like, "Is this based on recency bias? Surely we won't do this in the future, right?" But then I was like, "Nah, we're definitely going to do it again, it's in." Then we did it as soon as it was published.
The market increasingly has one question: will the strait open somewhat soon or no?
Remember Bessent’s 3/3/3 plan? One of the 3’s was 3%-of-GDP deficits. https://t.co/LI64eVsboT
The one-paragraph description of why nothing stops this train:
I don’t think pay-per-impressions is a great model anyway, since it incentivizes sensationalism. That’s part of why I’ve never taken a moment to turn on monetization for this app, despite my reach. So I think this own-country monetization weight reduces the issue to some extent. Solid proposal from @nikitabier or whoever originated it, imo.
In practice, the wealthy nations including Taiwan can scramble to bid high prices for unencumbered energy and materials to fill some/all of their gap, which will likely leave the worst shortages with the poorest countries.
@KlendathuCap Wow this whole bracket is lit, actually.
@LindaRaschke Thanks for checking it out. Hopefully you enjoy!
My March public newsletter is now available, and discusses to what extent the war on Iran may impact the "gradual print" scenario. Enjoy: https://t.co/4hDx5MSKSS https://t.co/tKqORqDF4D
@ed_cougar1948 @timevalueofbtc Bitcoin is a decentralized ledger that's literally backed by proof-of-work.
Writing any sort of macro research report is certainly on hard mode these days.
For context, since macro numbers are so big they tend to feel almost meaningless, $200 billion equates to approximately $1,500 per American household.
That sounds more chill than current events, actually. Some light weekend reading. https://t.co/zoy9QCVNlb
More like, Death nervously asked Chuck Norris if he’d accompany him, and Chuck Norris was nice enough to agree. RIP
