@simon_clowes Thanks so much!
@kostascrypto Amazing!!! Yes please. It's a really good book for students and halls guide them how to think about preparing for the future
I love @jungle4eva and they are as exquisite live as they are on album. Just saw them in Dallas tonight. Gorgeous https://t.co/glEyXrevmc
@RyanWeather Melissa was worse
@zerohedge No, it's lagged and observable
@cremieuxrecueil Because you write unique and interesting posts
@shinyrockz Oh hell yes
@GarryB1rd @armaniferrante Hahaha
Not sure if you've yet seen my interview with @armaniferrante but it's super interesting on the tokenizing of everything . Really enjoyed this https://t.co/MtYbgmMB1S
There appears to be a wide open gap in Oasis tour dates around Glastonbury weekend...
Sui dominance is a function of its beta. It has a low free float, 70% locked up in staking and it's earlier stage, and therefore any $ of capital in, or out, leads to outside moves over time. Meanwhile the density of its network (TVL per active user) remains constant in up and down markets (a sign of network coherence), and higher than most of its peers. It still has a way to go but the sui:native team is shipping the future of finance and the agentic economy rails. See you at @SuiBasedcamp in Singapore!
Blockchains are the economic coordination substrate for all digital economic activity. Once you accept that, you have to accept that they’re vastly underpriced. Agents are going to do more of the buying, selling, negotiating and settling on our behalf, and its going to happen faster than anybody is ready for. This is the core of my Exponential Age framework, and my Everything Code framework is why it cant be stopped. Agents are machines. A machine cant hold a share certificate or read a mortgage deed. It needs everything it touches to be a token it can read, hold and move in a fraction of a second. So everything gets tokenised... stocks, bo…
looking forward to this one! Speaking at @SolanaEvents Breakpoint in November. The theme this year is Token Supercyle... very fitting https://t.co/ZUPOlQQ8OA
Dear X friends... just a reminder I'd be honoured if you'd consider pre-ordering my first book "The Everything Code", out Nov 3rd. https://t.co/7HBm7pjJz6 You can order on Amazon here (and get the pre order discount!) https://t.co/Y7eYz2L9bB
I've been sending early copies of The Everything Code to a few close friends over the last few weeks. These are people whose opinions I really value, so it means a lot when one of them comes back with something like this. Thank you Micky. He's right that you should read it now. The system is more broken than its ever been, and at the same time we are at the dawn of the Exponential Age. Those two things arriving together is the whole story, and the window to understand them is right now. Preorders are open and I'm going to ask a favour... If you're planning on reading the book, I'd love it if you preordered rather than waiting for launch. It…
@sqda @jackbutcher @Blondie23LMD Thank you kind ser
@GarryB1rd @jackbutcher @Blondie23LMD You sound too American even writing it
@GarryB1rd @jackbutcher @Blondie23LMD You aren't English. You wouldn't understand. Also Liam Gallagher term. You also wouldn't understand
@jackbutcher @Blondie23LMD Thanks boss. I've been after one for a while and someone posted that there was one on Gondi so it had to be mine...
Welcome to The Culture Vault my little single check... I've had my eye on you for a while and since it's national @jackbutcher week I thought it was time. Thanks to my beautiful Blonde sniper @Blondie23LMD ! https://t.co/ArOGdfXyF1
Look what I dug up... the GMI Monthly from May 2014. We'd just held the first ever GMI Round Table, and a couple of members who'd backed a Bitcoin exchange in Singapore got up to talk. I was expecting something about payments. Instead they completely blew my mind. I went back to my desk and wrote that if you could record anything on an onchain ledger you'd have proof of ownership of everything... every insurance contract, every housing deal, every stock and bond... At the time that sounded ludicrous. Putting a stock on a blockchain felt like science fiction. What I understand now is this is far far far bigger than that. Agents are about to…
The world doesn't have equal access to financial markets. Crypto fixes that. I sat down with @armaniferrante, founder of Backpack and Mad Lads, to explore how regulated finance moves onchain, why tokenized equities could give everyone access to U.S. stocks, and how crypto becomes the global API for finance. As ever, please enjoy!
David and I created The Exponentialist 3+!yeses ago for exactly these times. Read the week downloads and my Postcards from the Exponential Age free on Substack. I promise it will make you think... a lot
See you in Singapore!
This is my Everything Code framework in a single chart... Theres no growing out of debt at these levels, so governments have no choice but to print to pay the interest and borrow more on top. On the face of it, we're all fucked. But I find myself oddly optimistic. For decades we've been piling on debt and hoping a productivity miracle shows up, and for the first time it's not a far off impossibility with the dawn of the Exponential Age. The Everything Code explains why we're stuck, how demographics and debt leave debasement as the only option and why that ends up driving almost every asset price. My Exponential Age framework is where we f…
Funnily enough I wrote about this yesterday... BlackRock gets the rails right: - AI is machine native intelligence, crypto is machine native money - Agents cant use banks so they need blockchains - Stablecoins are the money they pay with - Compute becomes a tokenised asset class But they stop at money and compute. The machine economy needs far more than that... identity, contracts, attention, energy, information itself. All of it gets tokenised, and most of those asset classes dont exist yet. Everything will be a token. And I mean everything. https://t.co/vCU9wroxdp
can't be arsed reading a big long article? have AI me summarise the thinking for you in seconds. here it is breaking down my latest piece on why people are thinking too small when it comes to tokenization. But it's trained on 35 years of my thinking so you can ask it literally anything about markets, liquidity whatever and it'll answer as me. Try it out and let me know how you get on. It's free. ask me something: https://t.co/3DrrDtyirN
@Rebecca98869736 @PeterLBrandt Some of the weaker credit will obviously blow up but if it doesn't push out regular junk spreads then it's not contagious.
@PeterLBrandt Sorry, I just re-read my message. It was supposed to be supportive suggesting that it's near impossible for you to post of X without having to caveat everything so it's not misinterpreted by people who don't know your work. Sorry badly worded message!
