It’s been a weird year. And there is seemingly no reasonable explanation. Murder rates are down double digits. The largest drop in history Crime is down nationwide Fentanyl and drug related deaths are cratering Egg prices down 95% Gas is down Rents have stabilized Even though we will likely never know why. We can all appreciate the outcome. Wow everyone jumping to conclusions. We really don’t know. Is it possible that arresting people with 97 violent felonies, drug and cartel connections could lower crime, murder, and drug rates? Yes. It’s possible I guess But it’s not for sure the reason why. El salavador went through something similar but there’s really no way to know why the murder rate their has gone so low. It’s also possible people just decided to be friendlier neighbors there to each other. We can’t jump to conclusions to fit bias Also this isn’t a political tweet. Not committing murder isn’t politics. It’s basic human decency.
