Since bottoming at 3,577 on Oct. 12, 2022, the S&P 500 has more than doubled, up about 118%.
It hit a new all-time high just last week.
This year alone, it’s up about 13.5%, adding roughly $9 trillion in market value.
But tech is doing almost all the work: strip out the biggest tech names, and U.S. stocks have slightly lagged Europe this year.
