In ‘22 & ‘23 we highlighted the likelihood of a continued uptick in political assassinations (as did @Jacob_A_Ware earlier this year👇) Similar to the 1960’s & ‘70’s, the generational disaffection of millennials on down, driven by federal reserve driven inequality is not only driving global populism, protectionism, xenophobia, & global conflict, but it will also continue to drive increasing instances of political violence. Unfortunately, this is unlikely to be far from the last such attempt on a major political figure in the next decade… Below is a list of major political assassination attempts in the US in the last such populist cycle, 1963-1982. John F. Kennedy (died) 1963 Malcom X (died) 1965 Martin Luther King Jr. (died) 1968 Robert F. Kennedy (died) 1968 George Wallace 1972 Richard Nixon 1974 Gerald Ford 1975 (2x) Harvey Milk/George Moscone (died) 1978 Leo Ryan (died) 1978 Allard Lowenstein (died) 1980 Ronald Reagan 1981 Ironically, JFK’s assassination in 1963 was the driving force behind LBJ’s Great Society program & kicked off the populist period & Reagan’s assassination survival allowed for a groundswell of support & kicked off the political support for its end and transition to supply side Reaganomics. https://t.co/wBEpxgwyJC
