The passport reportedly:
•Was issued in the 1980s
•Listed a different name but featured Epstein’s photograph
•Listed a residence in Saudi Arabia
•Was, according to Epstein’s lawyers, provided by a “friend” connected to an unnamed government, supposedly for Epstein’s personal protection while traveling abroad.
An investigative article about Epstein’s ties to intelligence & political networks proposes a theory: that Ronald Lauder, as U.S. ambassador to Austria in that era and a well-connected political figure, would have been one of the few in a position to help secure such a document. The author presents Lauder as a “most likely” candidate to be the facilitator for Epstein, based on overlapping timelines, roles & networks.
