Agree. We want America to win & we are thriving because we have our best going at it - some “closed” (OAI, Goog, Anthropic) for now & some “open” (X, meta / llama) for now. But I suspect they will all open source some models soon & I suspect (as Mark has indicated) they may all stop releasing their best models as they approach AGI. Of course they should all be free of censorious garbage & gov’t control - and @DavidSacks should be on the look out for regulatory capture BS in the name of safety. And while we should welcome @deepseek_ai into the game because the inevitable competition makes us better - I am still rooting for Team USA to win! 🇺🇸🫡
