Whatever your politics, watch this if you truly want to understand why the country outside the urban coasts voted overwhelmingly for Trump & against Washington as usual. They don’t want to be told what to do especially when their common sense tells them different. They were taught America was a place that embraced free speech, open debate, and where they could live free or die. Covid mandates & increasing censorship undermined that trust. I’m happy we are now having that debate. American democracy has always been messy - but there is a reason it has led to the greatest success story the world has ever known - because we have trusted the people & the process to evolve our imperfections & allowed them to share in the upsides of freedom. 🇺🇸🚀
