I’d seen parts of this Steve Jobs talk, never seen the whole thing until tonight. Pretty incredible on multiple levels. First, that Jobs is taking time to speak at a design festival, recognizing that’s where the difference in computer science will be: hiring people with great design sense. This is a recruiting event for him. Second, how much of the next 30 years is predicted: networking, open source, freemium, SaaS, AI… if you just took this talk as a roadmap and invested behind it, you’d have done well. Third, the seeming lack of visionary voices reaching out to new communities and audiences today.
