Backside power delivery isn't the clear W people make it out to be. Leading edge mobile doesn't even move to backside power for quite some time. China's FlipFET is seriously awesome. The 4F2 and 3D DRAM work here is incredibly important for the memory wall. Lastly digital twins!

Custom silicon vendors were pitching NVLink fusion in January and February UALink 1.0 spec had no surprises for anyone because consortiums discuss everything for 6 months before anything released Nvidia is far more worried about Broadcom SUE not UALink. Expert calls are just random people whether it be some bozo Google PM saying GPUs useful life is years or clueless TSMC people inventing a fake EUV layer count when they work on some completely unrelated technology and are siloed from actual info. Some expert calls are great. Most are terrible because it's people incentived to yap for $300 to $2500 an hour. The incentive structure means they a…

My hearing has been messed up for 3 weeks, felt pressure and hearing impacted. I went to two normal doctors, took afrin, Flonase, antibiotic ear drops, and steroids to fix it. Finally went to a specialist, this lovely 65 year old Dr. Sloan who retires in two weeks. He froze my ear drums and poked a hole in them. He explained everything about my ears to me and what happened. He knew exactly what was wrong immediately and acted. The banter was awesome too. Old doctors are the best, they have such intuition and are so nice and fun. Urgent care younger doctors are so soulless in comparison.

It's fun that Deepseek is being served at lower latencies and the same cost by a number of companies. A few firms have implemented Deepseek's high rank / wide EP inference set up with higher efficiency too. As such traffic has left Deepseek's direct API to other providers

The weakness of the US grid isn't just the lack of power It's also the lack of mechanisms to keep it stable I expect a training run to plunge hundreds of thousands of people into a blackout This will make normies anti-AI infrastructure There's solutions we can implement though!
