@thedylanassi I thought this concept was good, but like many books should have been an essay

Now being on the receiving end of “pitches” to feature folks on @nopriorspod, I have a public service announcement for founders: your PR consultant is probably worse than useless. They’re cringe Don’t be cringe, just be intellectually honest about why anyone would care

1/ A new executive order prioritizes U.S. global dominance in AI by removing regulatory barriers and aligning policies to accelerate innovation 🧵 https://t.co/YbvM90XHc7 2/ The order revokes prior regulations, including Executive Order 14110, that were seen as obstacles to broader AI development. A multi-agency task force has 180 days to deliver a national AI action plan focused on innovation, economic competitiveness, and security 3/ Federal agencies are directed to review and revise policies that hinder AI development 4/ The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) will align funding guidelines to support the administration’s goals, priori…

helping someone become the best version of themselves obviously benefits from both feminine and masculine energy vc firms expressing only alpha male energy feels like a mistake. great founders have innate two sigma aggression, aren’t looking to be dominated, but complemented having empathy doesn’t make you weak anything human needs to be nurtured

Clear demonstration of how AI will be most usefully applied in systems, rather than in a single model call 👏 @douwekiela and team

.@SurbhiSarnaSF is an unstoppable force. I asked if we could invest one sentence into our convo about her starting another company. 1/ rStar-Math is super cool, underrated. It demonstrates that small language models (7B!) can match larger models (like o1) at math reasoning through self-improvement: 2/ - self-generating high-quality math training data (for a policy SLM) using MCTS and code verification - a process preference model, based on predicted reward for each intermediate reasoning step - iteratively improving both w/multiple rounds of MCTS and retraining on validated data 3/ Self-improvement strategies work in much smaller systems!
