Stan’s position as I hear it - tariffs are a tax and generally bad - but in an effort to reduce our deficit, a reciprocal tariff capped at 10% is slightly preferable to raising taxes directly. In the absence of a $2 T deficit, highly doubt Stan would support tariffs at all - and highly unlikely he would support these nuclear scale tariffs.
