I'm excited to have Jeffrey Sherman
joining us today live in our podcast
studio in Los Angeles. Jeffrey is the
deputy CIO of Doubleline Capital, which
manages about $97 billion as of the end
of June. Jeff, thanks for joining us
today.
>> Yeah, great to be here in a beautiful
office and congratulations on the new
move.
>> Uh before we jump into Outlook, I want
to ask you just a few questions about
background to set the stage. What
experiences most influen…

>> Good morning, everyone. Welcome to this
week's episode of Double Line Minutes.
I'm Eric Dahl, here with Mark Kimbrough.
>> Hey, hey.
>> It's shortly after 10:00 a.m. Pacific,
Friday, October 9th, 2026.
Hopefully, all the listeners are getting
uh a good taste of fall.
We here in Southern California are
looking forward to fall. It's been a
long summer, but it looks like uh
fall is about to begin. So, with that
>> Relief on the horizon.
>> Yes.
Relief on the horizon.
With that, we will jump into where we
are and what's transpired this week in
the global markets. The US equity market
had a positive week, up a little over 1%
on the week…
So you know um we were talking earlier
the two of us and uh I had said that uh
I don't remember
uh really being this confused
uh and
in such a period of heightened
uncertainty
uh since I was at Mel back during the
financial crisis and I'm not predicting
that we're going to have a financial
crisis but maybe you can't really rule
it out either uh cuz nothing looks too
stable right now and I'm of the view

amazed and actually it was uh an article
that showed up on the front page of the
Wall Street Journal yesterday talking
about how gr…

Hi and welcome back to channel 11. I'm
your host Ken Shenoda. Today's Tuesday,
October 6. Title of today's show is bond
mageddon because we've had a pretty ugly
bond market out there. It's been
somewhat of a bloodbath, especially in
longer duration bonds.
Let's start off with the land of gains.
Equities making a new high here or looks
like a new high 7831.
a lot of 8,000 calls out there from the
street. We'll see if we get there by the
end of the year. It's been narrow breath
though. It's uh basically a few names
taking us up there. Here we can see year
to date um energy infoch momentum still
leading the way growth. Pretty solid
retur…

>> Hi everyone, Dan Cassidy here. Welcome
back to the UBS Market Moves podcast
channel. Today, we are excited to
feature the annual back to school on the
markets conversation with Jeffrey
Gundlach of DoubleLine Capital. Leading
today's conversation from UBS is Solita
Marcelli, global head of investment
management. Solita, I'll pass it off to
you.
>> Good morning, Dan. Thank you so much.
And hello everybody. I'm very pleased to
be here today with Jeffrey Gundlach,
who's the founder, CEO, and CIO of
DoubleLine. I don't think Jeffrey needs
much of an intro, given he's been one of
the most influential thought leaders in
the industry for y…
