Never giving up the em dash. Me to the bots: https://t.co/c4QNTA0IOf My threshold is that if I can’t write something that is clearly not AI slop to any reader that counts, despite normal usage of em dashes therein, then I shouldn’t bother to write it. Bots learned em dashes from people, because they are good.

OJ’s head of operations is a former Navy SEAL officer, who has worked in finance since then. He just joined X, so give him a warm welcome! 🍊👇
Businesses that emerge from private equity funds have higher than average failure rates because they tend to be levered up. As an alternative, we actually want to own the businesses we buy, keep their vibes intact, and back them up with a solid balance sheet. 👇
Private equity generally aims to buy businesses, cut costs, and flip them in 4-7 years for a profit. As an alternative, we started a company to buy and hold businesses, and back them up with a bitcoin treasury: https://t.co/VtfnMTn0g7 You can follow our work at @orangejuice_btc and https://t.co/UOBzTN7luG.

Taking a moment to appreciate how cool my father in law’s office is. https://t.co/o31UdqmYJn
Wow the “for you” feed is good again. The people you follow actually show up on it now. https://t.co/g9iVfGzFFV
@MushinTrading @LukeDashjr @youngelonbtc @natbrunell You have to intentionally reproduce big chunks of data too. It doesn’t just sit in there like a .jpeg.
@MushinTrading @LukeDashjr @youngelonbtc @natbrunell It's still in there and trivial to reproduce from the data. I support some ways to add frictions/costs to large non-monetary data in bitcoin. What I don't support is marketing them as existential when they only modestly affect it.

@KenMCoin @natbrunell Some of my earlier checks said 5-30%. Data compression isn't my domain. Even if it were 40%, that eliminates the idea that it's a solution for an existential problem. It's a discussion about a speed bump, and yet people have gotten death threats over it.

I remember what I thought about this in real time. As soon as I saw the trailer I was like, “Oh, CGI is actually good now. Ridiculously good.” It was a stepwise change compared to anything I’d seen before in terms of what sort of graphics a movie can bring to bear.
In related news, July 4th 2026 was intended to be the original end-date of DOGE, where they would have cut over a trillion dollars from the annual federal budget. But instead it dismantled, because nothing stops this train. On the bright side though, at least we got another war in the Middle East. Haven’t had one of those in a while.
Wait, Merriam-Webster’s got jokes? Turns out like half of their timeline is humor. Makes me feel less weird now if even the dictionary people are messing around.

This is basically what Amazon did with AWS, before the age of AI. They had all this server capacity and systems to run the largest retail website in the world, and then were like, “let’s scale it to run other businesses’ websites and applications, too.”
https://t.co/isWPUMtGhF In an era of fiscal dominance, one of the few things that otherwise highly polarized political groups tend to agree on is that the state should take a bigger role. They then differ aggressively on why, how, and where. https://t.co/6kF5odogaZ
@uniquemoviemom So the stones grant the user basically everything, except heightened reaction time?
@BitPaine @CanadianSatoshi @Strategy They’ve indeed boosted their USD reserve and implemented a buyback program for the preferreds and common:
@UziCryptoo (Punchline: it's that the money supply increased faster than wages and drove up most prices, especially for meat.)
@jameslavish I'm batting a pretty low percentage on typos today. I meant, "One of my favorite uses of this meme."
One of my favorite doctors is Ahmad Ammous. I’ll give the standard medical disclaimer that I don’t necessarily agree with every post of his per se. I’m not the doctor. But I do know he wakes up every day looking how to heal people at the root level, and I appreciate his work.
@HodlMagoo This isn’t sarcastic btw. Magoo is smart. Given that he responded here, his hypothetical mechanism is valuable to know as we all model our way through this chaos.
@ToxiKat27 @carlabitcoin @WalkerAmerica As a typo fix, I meant cannot be overstated. The level of detail and quality that Walker and Carla bring to their projects cannot be overstated.
Now, look up the Bank Secret Act. Yes I meant Bank Secrecy Act. Was too quick while autocorrect was active.
Eric is correct in multiple aspects here. Large swaths of government spending are inflation-indexed. And deficits as currently constructed contribute to the wealth divide. And yet, bonds underperformed virtually everything in the 2020s. Why? Because the US inflated it away. 😉
